Specimen Analysis
Specimen Analysis is an installation piece developed from a collection of work exploring pollution and the corruption of purity; using white felt to represent purity and Quink Ink and Bleach to corrupt.
Visitors were asked to respond to the corrupted white felt and record their interpretation.
Specimen Analysis was shown at the Sam Scorer Gallery, Lincoln in 2012. The show, entitled 'We Don't Know Either: Part Three', was a gathering of final year students of Bishop Grossesteste University.
Responses from visitors:
"Germs cough linktus observations paper and felt. Damien Hirst meets the paper making apothecary."
"Blue Blue Electric Blue ... D.Bowie"
"The Sky meets the Earth in a gentle rhythmic way, with grace of a feather touch".
"'Clouds' of stars in the universe and the colour all built from planets far, far away"
